How do I best care for my extensions?
Brush your hair gently starting at the ends, working your way to the root. Always brush hair prior to washing and avoid excessive pulling while brushing.
Avoid washing everyday, supplement with dry shampoo. Shampoo with a sulfate free shampoo at the root, following up with a moisturizing conditioner from the middle of your hair to the ends. RInse your hair with cold water to seal moisture into your cuticle. Use a deep conditioner bi-weekly to maintain extension quality.
Gently dry with a microfiber hair towel to reduce dry time. Apply a leave-in detangle spray when damp. Always apply a heat protectant to shield your hair from damage. Use hair oil consistently to allow continued moisture for your extensions. Brush hair from the bottom while holding down wefts at the root. The lower the temperature on your hot tools the better. Never go to bed with your hair wet or let your hair air dry.
We recommend sleeping with your hair in a low ponytail or braid to ensure your hair doesn’t tangle. Never go to bed with your hair wet. We love using a silk pillowcase as well to help combat tangles and frizz.
We do not recommend swimming with your extensions. The risks include, hair discoloration, tangling, and excessive dryness. If you choose to swim with your hair extensions, we recommend coating your hair with a leave-in conditioner prior to acting as a barrier. Always choose a mineral sunscreen without the ingredient Avobenzone as it will turn your extensions pink and is irreversible.
Does your salon accept walk-ins?
We do not accept walk-ins and ask that all new clients call or text our salon number to inquire about booking.
